MAC Code

MAC Code is a "Migration Authorisation Code". This should not be confused with "MAC Address" which refers to something completely different. A MAC Code is used in the UK to allow ADSL users to change Internet Service Providers. It serves the same function that "PAC codes" do when changing mobile phone providers.
